Earlier this week, a massive coordinated cyberattack shut down Wi-Fi, internal servers, and digital infrastructure across St. Paul. The city went dark.

Mayor Carter dropped the bombshell: “This was not a system glitch or technical error. This was a deliberate, coordinated digital attack carried out by a sophisticated external actor intentionally and criminally targeting our city’s information infrastructure.”

Governor Walz issued an executive order activating the Minnesota National Guard’s cyber unit to find out exactly what data was accessed or stolen.
