The Captain's View. Scripps Pier, La Jolla, California.

This is what I was looking at (The Captain's View) during the time I shot episode #196 (2:30 p.m.). I had a second camera recording at the same time in the direction I was looking. The direction is North.
Visible in the distance are: Black's Beach, Torrey Pines, Del Mar and up the coast. Look in the sky for the paragliders. The camera is literally under the pier.

It was a hot and windy afternoon.
