Chatting With Jake Merrick

Jake Merrick has had a very exciting last several years.

In 2020, he ran for Congress in the 5th District and came in 5th in a very crowded 9 person field. In 2021, he ran for and won the District 22 special election forced when Stephanie Bice won that Congressional seat.

Jake served in that seat from April 2021 to November 2022 when he lost to Kristen Thompson in part due to a dark money campaign engineered to oust him over his vote against vouchers for private schools (labeled as "school choice").

Now, Jake is running for Governor.
