CARNEY DODGES QUESTION ABOUT SUPPLY MANAGEMENT

When asked about the trade deals that President Trump has been making and why Canada has not come to the table yet, Prime Minister Carney said there is a "landing zone."

REPORTER: Does this "landing zone" include supply management?

PM CARNEY: Look, the uh, the um, they uh uh, we've been clear about supply management, we've been clear about uh, language right as things that are fundamental to uh our structure, the uh, the uh access negotiated and as Mr. Freeland knows, the uh, existing USMCA as they would call it and the CUSMA accord and the uh, effectiveness of those arrangements.
