🎯 Topic: Inletting the Buttstock Lock & Toe Plate

In this video, I demonstrate the inletting process for both the buttstock lock and toe plate on a Traditions Shenandoah .50 caliber percussion rifle. This work is part of my FTT 210 coursework at the Sonoran Desert Institute and focuses on proper layout, precision fitment, and hand-tool control.

📏 Tools used: Chisels, inletting black, layout tools
🪵 Wood type: Birch or Beech (factory stock material)
⚙️ Purpose: Achieve tight, clean inletting for structural support and cosmetic accuracy
