In this video we kill a face changer, gain access to the spell Infernal Flames, add to Shines to our possible teleport locations, opened up a shortcut and we finally find the way to Annalum. We are NOT done with Shu Sanctum quite yet, but we did finish much of it.

Snowy Pass / Cave (Both Exits - Shortcut & Mort Grotto) When we start up the snowy pass, stick to the right, cross the bridge on the right and back track to the cave entrance on the left. As progressing through the cave, you will get to a peculiar "Y" split. On the right, we have a lever to call an elevator and on the left, the path continues on. We cover both in the video : )

In this video we clear out the rebel camp and cave via a fairly hidden entrance. A small portion of this we cleared out previously and there is no need to do it a second time. I did so for the leveling mats. We have 3 bosses coming up in the next few episodes, so get in as many levels as you can : )

Bosses For This VIdeo: General of the North - Ai Nengqi Ming General - Liu Cheng'en On the General of the North battle, we are able to summon a NPC which makes this fight easier and the be honest, it is straight forward. Note: long sword users, after beating the Ai Nenggi, you are rewarded with the "Flamebringer" with is arguably the best longsword in the game. I didn't notice this and didn't equip. I would EQUIP this monster because the damage increase is noticeable. As for the Ming General fight, if you dodge 3x and higt him with a charged heavy after the final dodge, we can get a poise break and hit him with an obliterate. Following that, I would wait for her aerial spin attack and counter this with a block followed by a stab, then back step. I would NOT try to get a third hit, because randomly he will counter this with an attack that throws you on the ground, in which if picks you up and placed his blade to yoru neck and the rest is fairly obvious. He is weak to fire, so for the times you back step to get out of the ice cloud, launch "Burning Flames" for decent damage, also heal when he case ice cloud. It is the safest approach. Rinse and repeat.

Before you start this video, you might want to consider taking some Dramamine. All joking aside, a lot of the paths circle back onto themselves in this area. Cloudspire City is a large area and though confusing at times, a lot of fun. So, pay attention to where you are and have fun with it : )

He has offered to turn a blind eye to our motivations for being in the castle if we find and return said dress. * Shen Jing'an - 00:07:23 - the Great Yonder Gang - offers trade - royal wedding dress for the return of Glut, a missing member of their gang. * Matchstick - 00:08:51 - Matchstick realizes the bridge is down and wants to go and check his grandmother. * Glut - 00:20:53 - asks your advice about which person to search for and if you want the little guy to live it is very important that you choose "Search for Shen Jing'an". If you chose to search for his master he will turn up dead the next day. * Shen Jing'an - 00:23:26 - hands over the wedding attire for keeping our end of the deal. * Shen Yanping - 00:24:18 - We turn in the dress to S. Yanping. * Matchsticks Granny - 00:33:10 - Gives us "Vitality Bowl" to give to Matchstick. * Matchstick - 00:39:40 - We give the Vitality Bowl to Matchstick, signaling the passing of his grandmother. * Wu Gang - 00:46:00 - Turn in Black Coral Bracelet to upgrade his shop.

We are going to be going after a spell that we shouldn't have access to for a while yet. The enemies in the area we are going are stronger than we normally run into, but to be honest, its not to painful. This spell will greatly help us through the remainder of the game, so IMO, its worth the detour. Note: I had a straight forward plan for this video, which ended in putting down the Mistress of the Night. Well, things didn't go that way, but things still ended well : ) I decided to go after Ethereal Form, which should help us in a HUGE way not just on this coming boss fight but for the next 3 bosses. We normally wouldn't get to this spell until closer to the end of the game. It will be in my for until the end of the game, its that good. First, you dodge and basically evaporate into mist, in which the enemy can't hit you, and you can chain the Ethereal Form casts.. and each time you do it.. you gain Skyborn Might. You might see how this could come in handy facing a boss you can't attack from the front.. and need to get behind for a backstab / obliterate? Yep, I am talking about the next boss we face, Mistress of the Night - Huang Yan. Now, as I went after these items, i didn't have the foresight keep from dying, which spawned Bo / Demon at the time I was already fighting a mini boss for Upgrade MATS. If this ever happens to you, do your best to keep the non-demon boss between you and demon boss.. aka Bo. Getting confusing? If you do it right, the boss doesn't like the demon anymore than he likes you, so he will attack her and often will help you by taking a chunk of her health, if not all of it. Regardless, we killed both of them.. then proceeded to an new area (new to me), which summoned the demon (that we just beat) and we had to beat her again : ) Fun times... Bring on the bosses!!!

In this video we will finally take down the Mistress of the Night - Huang Yan. I love that when I used the Ethereal Form spell, she was like "Oh, there you are". Priceless. If I had been patient, I would have took her out the first attempt instead of the second. Tips: - You don't need Ethereal Form but boy does it make it easier whether positioning yourself behind her or just simply evading her. - I wore a mix and match set that focused on corruption. You can also focusing on magic mitigation. In my second attempt (the one I took her down on) I got hit point blank with her one shot attack that everyone is talking about (mostly frustrated because it kills them). When she hit me, by some miracle I was able to dodge her 4 attacks in a row because her "one shot" attack took me down to 5-10% health. All in all, it was a fun fight.. and she NEVER stops talking trash, even after she dies she was still talking : )
