Ok, I made it through the creepy kids room, past the creepy baby dolls, and pulled the mummified arm off the mummified creepy corpse. I turn around and see the legs of a child run away laughing. Even more creepiness. I knew this game tends to not let you backtrack with out throwing a few surprises at you, but I will admit the game succeeded in lulling me into a false sense of security. The encounter at the 0:18 second mark got me good. Thankfully the enemy was in my face enough that aiming wasn't necessary.

Story wise, now that you have what you need to make the serum, Zoe tells you to meet up at the trailer. You go there only to find that Lucas (the hoodie family member) has taken her and has prepared a sort of scavenger hunt for you. He gives you a clue by means of the severed head of the cop at the beginning, and you make your way to the basement.

I haven't talked about this until now, but jump to the 5:20 minute mark. This is the 5th or 6th time you encounter the grandma just randomly in the house. I don't know if she'll ever do anything (she probably will), but even if she doesn't the inclusion of a character like this is brilliant. As I said, all she does is look at you, you cannot interact with her, and she's never made a move towards me... but turning your back to her goes against every instinct you have, even if it's in a well lit room with a lot of space. Just knowing she's there is extremely unsettling. Its as if the game is trying to remind you that even in familiar places you still need to be on your guard.
