Sources say India believes there will be no significant adverse impact on the Indian economy from the 25% tariff announced by US President Donald Trump. The GDP loss, they said, is expected to be less than 0.2% and exports will fall slightly. They added that India is giving top priority to its interests and that there will be no compromise on agriculture and dairy in the trade deal being negotiated with the US.
