Why Josh Hawley change the name of the PELOSI Act? AUGUST 1, 2025

The Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments Act, commonly known as the #PELOSIAct, has been renamed the #HONESTAct. (SHAME!) This change occurred as the bill progressed through the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Senator #oshHawley introduced the bill, which seeks to prohibit members of Congress and their spouses from trading and holding individual stocks. We're still not sure what problem #PresidentTrump and the Republicans have with this bill.
