Q384 - Where Can I Find a List of the “Errors” of Vatican II?

Well, I think there are different books, especially those by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. In his speeches, articles, or books, he mentioned some errors. I believe that some publications of the Society of Saint Pius the Tenth also made a concrete list or enumeration of these errors. I do not know the exact title of a specific book at the moment, but one can inquire. There are authors who have written about certain errors in the documents of Vatican II.

Thanks be to God, there are not so many, and I would not say they are heresies directly. But there are different levels. Some of the statements are simply unclear. Some are ambiguous, so they can be interpreted in both ways. Some are simply errors, but not formal heresies, thanks be to God.

Therefore, such lack of clarity or such ambiguities and errors can be corrected later in the future by other documents of the Church. I do not see any problem with this because the documents of Vatican Two did not have the intention to propose their teachings in a definitive manner. Their intention was more of a pastoral style or approach, which can be reviewed later.

Now that more than sixty years have passed about two generations I think we will enter a more balanced and calm situation. Future popes can correct, in a discreet and clear way, the ambiguities or errors found in some of the texts of Vatican II.
