It is our understanding that EMS runs for serious injuries are as common as cowboy hates at a Rodeo. We received reports of officers injured and multiple days of five or more ambulance runs for serious injuries. Due to DOC blatant disregard of open records it is hard to verify the exact number of reports and it is unknown the extent of injuries. We are being advised that DOC is having to force officers from other facilities to work at Red Rock. However between DOC steadily firing employees and all the employees who are quitting, staffing is certainly a massive challenge. Harpe better hurry up with his officer replacement plan, AI. Maybe Harpe can keep covering up his disasters until AI arrives and fixes everything. Why is DOC targeting the experienced or older employees to be fired and why are they using officers body cameras against them. Director Harpe is trying hard to shut down OCP. We have reports that HR has refused to let employees join OCP and that Harpe has actually threatened employees to prevent them from joining. We had a death at Northeastern and stabbing at McAlford which appears like institution that normally have no problems are experiencing violence. Let’s not forget a walk away at DCCC. Never a shortage of issues to discuss.
