Unbelievable: Rolly Romero Becomes the New WBA Champ Without Throwing a Punch

Ring Magazine revealed via X that the WBA has now elevated Rolly Romerc to WBA Welterweight World Champion. This means that Rolly is the new email champ of the welterweight division.

The crazy part is that he did it without even throwing a punch. The Welterweight division was once known as a glamour division, with fighters like Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran, Oscar Dela Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, and Mark Breland, just to name a few.

As of late, the welterweight division has gone from Terence Crawford, Errol Spence, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Kell Brook, and Danny Garcia.
Now we have Rolly Romero, Mario Barrios, Brian Norman Jr, and others.
