Beware Credit Card Fraud… Because My Provider is Dumb

I don’t really have anything more to say here than isn’t already in the video.

Our credit card company literally let some rando buy thousands of dollars worth of plane tickets across Africa, but when we went to book a hotel room here in the States, freaked out.

No, we’re not getting charged for the fraud; they’re going to have to eat that, and deservedly so.

Seriously, if they are so dumb as to not flag random purchases like that, they deserve to lose the money.

But to punish us by adding overly-zealous security?

That’s absurd.

“Yes, we failed at something simple, but now we’re taking it out on you.”

Not the best way to run a business.
