The title of the song is "The Children at Helmsand"

The song is from an old poem the describes a tragic event where a community is faced with starvation and they send away the children of the community to an uninhabited island - to a fast but certain death instead of the long agonizing one. Then comes better times and they hear rumors of a beach where the children are still alive. They sail there and find the children alive and bring them home. But the moment they enter the houses they vanish as they were dead but only kept in a spirit state that broke the moment they had contact with the real world.

I make my songs by: pen & paper for the lyrics. Melody on an old Korg PS60 synthesizer, a Korg Volca FM, a Korg Volca Sample and a Korg Kaossilator Pro, Akai MPC X and some software. I sing to get the intonations I want - but then use AI to alter the voice before I master the track. It is a process I have a lot of fun with. I hope you will enjoy the result.
