After unprecedented violence and attacks against ICE agents, Trump border czar Tom Homan is ferociously fighting back.

He’s promising to personally visit “sanctuary cities” like Seattle and Portland this year, flooding communities with more resources to apprehend illegals.

Frontlines reporter Choe Show recently rode along with ICE agents and spoke to Homan about boosting morale and keeping his officers safe.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Tuesday that assaults on US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have spiked by 830 percent between January 21 and July 14 compared to the same period last year.

In a press release, DHS attributed the dramatic increase in violence to inflammatory rhetoric from members of Congress and media figures. The agency cited incidents of doxing, harassment, and physical attacks on ICE personnel, including one case involving California Representative Salud Carbajal. According to DHS, Carbajal allegedly showed an ICE employee’s business card to an angry mob earlier this week, effectively singling out the agent. The agent was then struck with a rock and had to go to the emergency room for medical treatment.

The department also highlighted ongoing threats in Portland, Oregon, where local Antifa-affiliated groups have reportedly posted officers’ personal information, including home addresses, on social media. One ICE officer reported having trash dumped on their lawn alongside a sign reading “F*** you” with their name on it.

“Brave ICE law enforcement are risking their lives every day to keep our communities safe from the worst of the worst criminals,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “ICE law enforcement are succeeding to remove terrorists, murderers, pedophiles and the most depraved among us from America’s communities, even as crazed rhetoric from gutter politicians are inspiring a massive increase in assaults against them. It is reprehensible that our officers are facing this threat while simply doing their jobs and enforcing the law.”

DHS also pushed back on media claims that ICE is targeting children, stating that instead of separating families, the agency asks mothers if they want to be removed with their children or have them placed in the care of a guardian.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem weighed in on the report via X, writing, “This new data reflects the violence against our law enforcement in cities across the country in the last few weeks. Politicians across the country, regardless of political stripe, must condemn this.” She singled out California Governor Gavin Newsom in her post, adding, “We’re looking at you.”
