In this first episode in the Coin Shops of America series I visit Carson City, NV to see broken coins, error coins, rare coins, gold bars, gold nuggets, and the original US Carson City Mint. Some of the coins I see in this video are worth over $500,000 and are incredibly rare. I get to hold a gold bar that is worth over $100,000 as well. At the Nevada State Museum you can view the Coin Press Number 1 which was the first minting press at the Carson City Mint. I learn the likelihood that my personal Morgan Dollar was minted on that exact machine!
