Think about this—the greatest compliment in the world is when God puts His finger on you and says, “Come aside, spend time with Me.” How tragic that so many miss that summons because the distractions of life—sports, schedules, noise—crowd Him out. The disciples were first called to simply be with Him so that He could impart Himself into them. Only then did He send them out to do what He was doing.
