Chris Cuomo Fields Call After Call From Democrats Admitting They Were Wrong About Trump: 'I'm Happy'

Posted • August 1, 2025: News Nation anchor Chris Cuomo opened up his show's caller lines to listeners who wanted to admit making mistakes, and was promptly inundated with Democrats confessing that they have been pretty happy with President Trump. The host of "Cuomo" and brother to disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo asked Americans to open up and "admit what they were wrong about." He could not have foreseen what was coming - a decent barrage of Democrats calling into the show and confessing they were wrong about the President. You know, literal Hitler. They were wrong about who they were told time and time again was the second coming of Hitler. Kicking off the segment was a caller named Chrissy, who said she is happy with how illegal immigration is being handled under Trump and that her 401(k) is back to being in good shape. Oh, and the stock market didn't tank as predicted.

Describing herself as a "proud Democrat," Chrissy entered the Cuomo confessional booth to state, "I'm not too proud to say that I am wrong about Trump." - "Immigration," she said when pressed by Cuomo to cite specifics. "I'm happy about what's happening with immigration. I thought the stock market would tank—and I'm pretty happy with my 401(k)." - "There's a few things that I just thought would go wrong, and I'm very happy." —— Lest you believe this was just a one-off, Cuomo's producer chimed in that she was fielding "a lot of calls saying the exact same thing." That's when David tagged in, referring to himself as a "registered Democrat" who is seeing even those from his party admitting that President Trump is "doing something good." He suggested that watching the party admit to these accomplishments will unite them, the country, and the world. Cuomo responded by saying Democrats need to explain the things they'll make better rather than constantly telling the American people why "the other guy is worse."

Instead, the next caller explained how Trump has been making things better in his view regarding the Middle East. "I was wrong to hate President Trump," a caller named Matty Stu said. "And it took October 7th for me to realize that, and him coming into office, and with whatever the Democrats are these days, and the rise of anti-Semitism to make Trump the common sense hero of Israel." If you weren't consuming news from sources like CNN, MSNBC, and say, Chris Cuomo, you'd have probably realized that Trump has been a common-sense hero for over a decade now on nearly every topic, not just Israel. To be fair to Cuomo, he did point out that these Democrats will likely lose friends for their admission on Trump, since the left can't handle diversity of thought. "There's nothing wrong with being happy with results," he admitted himself. "No matter who gives them to you." (…)
