Story & Setting
Set in a rich fantasy world of swords and sorcery, the plot centers on four heroes—Han, Randy, Ginjirou, and Nicole—who uncover a legendary sword. They become fugitives hunted by the oppressive wizard‑king Kanon, and join forces with the Undead Warrior, the sword’s original owner, to challenge his reign and uncover cosmic secrets involving Sky and Earth Spirits.

Gameplay Features

Hybrid combat system: Combines beat‑’em‑up action with fighting‑game style controls—light and heavy attacks, blocking, command‑input specials, and multi‑plane battlefield movement across three lanes—providing depth rarely seen in genre peers.

RPG elements: Characters earn experience points in battle, level up between stages to allocate points into stats like Strength, Vitality, Intelligence, Luck, Agility, and Magic. A karma system affects branching dialogue and outcomes depending on actions like harming civilians or showing mercy.

Branching story paths & multiple endings: With over 30 stages, seven possible endings, and player-directed branching decisions, each playthrough yields a distinct narrative flow.

Modes & Multiplayer

Story Mode supports up to two players in co‑op.

Versus Mode supports up to six players via Saturn multitap, and unlocks over 45 playable characters including bosses, enemies, and NPCs, creating a vibrant arena combat experience reminiscent of fighting games mixed with Smash‑style chaotic fun.
