Episode 1052: What does Satan, Cain, Nimrod, and Antiochus have in common?

Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we continue looking at the church at Smyrna which had Jews who were blaspheming the name of the Lord and were of the synagogue of Satan.

Wait a minute, synagogue of Satan? Yes. They were doing everything that a child of Satan would do by deceiving others through their outward behavior while inwardly they were furiosus wolves.

The Lord did not hold back on these wicked people who polluted the sacrifices and now are polluting the gospel.

What did the Lord do about that? He brought in Antiochus Epiphanes, gave him an army for the sole purpose of stopping the Jews from performing the ritual of the daily sacrifices.

God did what?!!! Yes, you read that correctly.

Was Antiochus a believer? Oh no, he was an antichrist before the book of Revelation told us about the AntiChrist. Antiochus did what the real AntiChrist will do in the future, commit the abomination that makes desolate in the temple of the Most High God.

Antiochus offered a pig on the burnt Altar. The burnt Altar represents the cross. The unblemished unspotted lamb represented the sinless and holy Christ. Antiochus's pig also represented Christ but the Devil was claiming that Christ was unclean and the blood unclean.

What a travesty!!!! Why would the Lord allow such a thing to happen to HIS TEMPLE? He allowed it because of the sins of the Jews. The Lord allowed the prophet Malachi to explain why He allowed it however it was prophesied by the prophet Daniel.

This same type of events is happening now as the "church" has become polluted with these types of "pastors". God will allow the AntiChrist who is the beast to do the same thing to Israel again and kill most of the true believers.

This is proper Bible study my friends. This is how we go deep into the word of God to get a clear understanding of what the Lord has done, is doing, and will do.
