Short Cut To Hell (1957)

A cold-blooded hitman, Kyle Niles, is double-crossed by his employers after carrying out a contract killing. On the run and seeking revenge, he takes a woman hostage, setting off a tense cat-and-mouse pursuit with the police closing in. Directed by James Cagney in his only outing behind the camera.
