Ghislaine Maxwell moved to women’s prison in Texas

Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted for her role in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operation, has been transferred from a Florida prison to a minimum-security facility in Texas.

The move comes as she seeks to overturn her conviction and pursues a pardon from President Trump.

The reasons for the transfer remain unclear, and victims’ families have criticized it as preferential treatment done without notification, the BBC has reported.

Maxwell recently met twice with the Deputy U.S. Attorney General and offered to testify before Congress—though only with legal protections, which were denied.

Her planned deposition has since been postponed.
