AWAKEN

I’ve been sleeping in the shadows,
Hiding from the rising sun.
But the dawn is breaking open,
And my new life has begun.

Every chain is falling free,
Every breath belongs to me.
I can feel my spirit rise,
With fire in my eyes.

Awaken — the night has lost its hold,
I’m stepping into dreams untold.
Through the dark, I’ve found my way,
This is my brand-new day.
Awaken — my heart begins to soar,
I’m stronger than I was before.
No fear, no shadow will remain,
I’m awakened again.
