Israelis are increasingly gripped by fear over traveling abroad as a series of “anti-Jewish” attacks and rising global criticism isolate the country on the world stage. According to a Channel 12 poll published on August 1, 56% of Israelis fear they can no longer travel safely overseas, with only 40% expressing no such concerns. The poll also shows a collapse in confidence in the Netanyahu government, with 67% of Israelis feeling their leaders do not represent their will and approval ratings plummeting for the Prime Minister and top cabinet members.
