Understanding this Realm’s Millennial Kingdom of Jesus; its heavenly (unseen to the human eye) and earthly (seen) portions…

Genesis 1:2b-2:3. Into the now restored Earth’s Kingdom, God created man; Adam and Eve, made in His ‘image’ (like working models) to “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it and have dominion…” To then rule “…over every ‘living thing’ that moveth upon the earth” as God’s (the eternal Son of God’s - John 1:3,10) appointed authority as His Priests in Government over this re-developing and to-be re-populated Planet. Essentially, man was made to be God’s theocratic government in this Realm. Who then failed in dominion through disobedience in the believing of the serpent’s lie, and gave up their authority in the Earth to satan… who would then rule over all the Nations of the Earth.

Then God called… Israel out of Egypt to be His holy Nation of ruling priests, from the seed of Abraham 3500 years ago (Israel being firstborn sons of Yahweh from one point of view - Exodus 4:22, and His wife from another point of view - Jeremiah 3, Ezekiel 16, Hosea 2). Israel was to be God’s theocratic (priestly ruling) government, wherein Yahweh was then to be the unseen King in the unseen heavenly portion of this re-stored Realm over the Jews of Israel, who then would take dominion and rule in (His restored image/like working models of) love, holiness, and justice on the Earth. Note that a ‘man’/the Lord Jesus, was in God’s view to give the Kingdom - Deuteronomy 17:15… David being a type of Him. Israel, like Adam and Eve before them, were to be a Nation of Priests in this seen portion, directly under God, their King, ruling from the unseen heavenly portion of this Realm. Yet, we see what they chose in 1st Samuel 12:13,17… “Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the Lord hath set a king over you… Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the Lord, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the Lord, in asking you a king.”

So, like Adam and Eve, that Nation also failed. In the first place, through persistent satanically inspired apostasy, they lost the granted authority of God in the Earth to the Gentile rulers. (Jeremiah 27:5-8… “I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me. And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant (His ‘servant’ as it relates to accomplish the Lord’s future hidden judgement purposes, seen in the remainder of the Book of Daniel and seen in the Book of Revelation); and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him. And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the Lord, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.” Note that as Adam and Eve lost their authority to satan, and were brought under judgement but received the Promise of the Seed who would after the appointed time was complete, come and crush satan’s authority… so also then Israel lost their authority to their enemy Nebuchadnezzar and his successors. Israel being now still under judgement, until the time appointed when their King shall come, destroy their enemies, and establish them again, and forever as a Kingdom of Priests.) And in the second place, they failed to regain that authority over all the Gentile Nations, by not taking authority over the spiritual forces on the Earth (demons) or over satan and fallen spirits in the heavenly portion of this Realm, by receiving their redeeming Messiah, the incarnate Son of God/Son of Man (the then satan-defeating Jewish Son of Man). John 1:11… “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” Despite many pleas/appeals by Jesus in His first coming to “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand,” Israel could have received their priestly authority back over both the earth, and additionally its heavens, had they....
