🚨BREAKING: Air Force EOD Team Start 27,000 Acre Range Fire In Idaho

On July 31st, 2025, the Mountain Home Air Force Base EOD Team started a massive range fire near the Orchard Combat Training Center in Idaho.

The Idaho National Guard stated the team was neutralizing an unstable device for local law enforcement when the detonation misfired.

The Bureau of Land Management has deployed four engines, two Nevada Task Forces, and aerial support to combat the rapid spread caused by strong winds. As of Friday evening the range fire has burned over 27,000 acres.
