BOTTOM LINE:
When I play, I can remember that every week should have a rest and recharge day.

OBJECTIVE:
Kids will state that Sundays should be a day to recharge and worship God.

SUMMARY:
Remote control cars are fun to play with and race around, but what happens after you
keep them going at full speed for a long time? They start to slow down. That battery
starts to slow down and they need to recharge. God knew that we, as people, need
to recharge too. That’s why God said that the Sabbath day was to be a special day of
rest. God said if he could create the world in 6 days, we should be able to do all of our
work in 6 days. He wants us to use that 7th day as a day to recharge, and refocus on
God and all he has done for us.
