Title: Revelation: The Lamb and the 144,000 Pt 11 Text: Revelation 14:1-13 Vital Verse: “Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads” (Revelation 14:1). Nugget to Nibble: Chapter 14 serves as a bookend to Chapter 12.John receives a vision of the future victory celebration of the redeemed—those who remained faithful to Christ during the tribulation. Once persecuted, they now stand triumphantly with Him in the glorious city. These 144,000, marked with the name of the Lamb and the Father, sing a new song—one reserved for those redeemed from the earth. For the unbelieving, however, this chapter marks the arrival of divine judgment. Angels are sent to harvest the earth, gathering those who persist in rebellion. They are cast into the “great winepress of the wrath of God.” The blood that flows is not for salvation, but for judgment—punishment poured out on the rebellious who face eternal condemnation.
