As part of our effort to right-size VOA, we've decided to stop hiring foreign employees using the J-1 visa.

The program was being abused, creating a threat to our national security by bringing in individuals from nations hostile to America. Many of them are refusing to leave.

Their jobs are done, which means their time in this country is over.

If I have to accompany them to the airport and ensure they board their flights, I will. But they must go home.
