Before any building of stone, the first temple was Eden itself—a flawless, divine machine where God's breath served as the "operating system" for creation. According to this theory, when man fell, the enemy could not create life, so he built a counterfeit system of rituals and spells to hijack the divine breath. Cain's altar is presented as the first prototype of this counterfeit system.
