When Israel left ancient Egypt, "all the hosts of YAH went out from the land of Egypt." (Exodus 12:41) Now, YAH has always punished His people, Israel through physical captivity and exile due to their disobedience; this is forewarned many times when the Curses of the covenant are outlined in Leviticus 26:14-39 and Deuteronomy 28:15-68. The heavier or stronger shackles of Isaiah 28:22 conveys the heavier burden of increasing sin rather than repenting, which would lead to even worst captivity and exile than previously experienced by Israel. But as per Psalms 20:1, may YAH hear the Israelites/black slave descendants in the day of trouble, for "when you (Israel) are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to YAH your Father, and shall be obedient unto His voice; (for YAH your Father is a merciful Father;) He will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He sware unto them." (Deuteronomy 4:30)
