This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to the lyric video for "Fight Myself Again."

This song was written during times of deep reflection on many levels. I've long had my own personal internal struggles, but we all face external struggles that each of us shares in.

"Nobody is an island."

So even though we do have our own personal struggles, we are also affected by the same struggles that affects humanity overall. I've always been one to consider the bigger picture in life, and I often end up focusing on "distant" outcomes, per se, which has had a tendency to only cause more controversy and division between myself and others.
Perhaps I may not have always understood the many layers of reality that has always affected us, but I was never one to ignore it.

When the problems and realities of life continue to pile up, they have a tendency to compound... and if people never learn to deal with it, then it often has disastrous consequences. And because I've been there and I know what it's like, I don't want to leave anyone in a place like that without a way to vent and relieve the pressures.

For me, life has always been an Uphill battle...

... and God was always the answer I was searching for.

What non-believers don't understand is that YHVH is not a "god" that needs our protection.

YHVH IS GOD ALONE who is a Deliverer.

He reaches out to us, sometimes through Himself, and other times through others. He is able to defend Himself. And because He is not helpless like we are, He is able to truly be a source of ever-present help during our darkest times.

All He requires is that we confess our sins... our failures...
And then we are to turn from evil, and to do good...
And the promise is that we shall surely live because He is faithful and just to forgive us and HE IS ABLE to make us whole.
