Suno - Surfing Blues

This early piece I had Suno generate for me was among one of my early learning experiences with the platform as well, specifically teaching me that when you mentioned singers and other musicians by name, the generator would always assume you were asking it to plagiarize directly from the named musician even when the requested song was intended to be poking fun at said singer(s)—e.g. Bette Midler or the Beach boys—for their real-life failings and fallibilities in parody form. In this case, I was doing a little gentle ribbing of the Beach Boys for having done so many songs about surfing when—in fact—none of them except their drummer Dennis Wilson even liked it all that much as a hobby (let alone a sport). To get this beach music song about how the Beach Boys' songs were at odds with some of the realities of surfing, I had to instruct the engine to generate generic lyrics about some of the activity's many downsides, and then rewrite the chorus manually to mention the Beach Boys in passing to keep from triggering the automatic writer's programmed paranoia about mentioning musicians' copyrighted names and titles in the lyrics. (Evidently, the engine for generating the actual vocals and backing tracks had no such restrictions on it.)
