Explanation: A man and his friend stole a car with a shotgun and drove through San Diego. Police followed in a helicopter with thermal (heat‑detecting) cameras. One man ran and hid in a backyard. The camera showed his body very bright (hot). Suddenly, he put the shotgun to his head and fired himself. A hot splash could be seen on the camera. It deeply shocked the air1ne crew and the ground officers. The other man was arrested. He likely faced prison for cr!m3 of carjacking.
