NUMBER ONE: Unknowingly Breaking the First Commandment—The 1566 Catechism Still Matters | E14b

If we’re shocked by the headlines—Diddy, Epstein, Hollywood, the unraveling of everything—we should be. But we shouldn’t be confused.

This is what happens when men, in every age, abandon the First Commandment.

If we are blessed enough to have guilt and shame for our sins replace indifference, then obedience is the only next step. Not vague spirituality as I’ve tried. Not self-help. Not more false strength validated only by the wrong sources. True repentance means bowing to the First Commandment: “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.”

In this episode, I walk through what that actually means—drawing from the timeless Council of Trent Catechism, the one weapon the postmodern Church seems to have buried and forgotten.

But it’s still alive.

And it still burns.

I made this not just for young men like I once was, not just for even the man I am now—but for anyone who’s finally done pretending, who’s ready to lay down his idols, his pride, and his excuses.

The man ready to break up with Delilah.

Because guilt alone won’t save us.

Only obedience to the living God will.
