The Jaime David Podcast - Episode 7: The Internet (Writing Analysis)

This episode is a little different because it features AI-generated voice narration based on my own recordings. Due to my current recording environment and personal limitations, I’ve chosen to use this tool to bring my poetry to life. The AI voice model was trained on my own voice and captures my natural tone, pacing, and delivery. It’s still me — just enhanced with a bit of technology to help me share content more consistently. Think of it like using autotune: it’s still the artist, just with some digital help. This method allows me to bridge the ideas in my head with the stories and poems I want you to hear, ensuring I can keep creating even when recording new episodes is challenging.

In this episode, I reflect on how the Internet has influenced my own life, creativity, and thinking. We explore its role in shaping perspectives, its ability to connect people across the globe, and the ways it can both inspire and overwhelm. By analyzing “The Internet”, I also touch on broader themes of communication, identity, and the ways technology mediates our experiences. This episode is meant to spark thought, curiosity, and reflection on how we navigate modern digital life — all through the lens of poetry.
