High-Speed Collision Caught on Camera on San Fernando Valley’s 118 Freeway

On August 2, 2025, a pickup truck slammed into a disabled truck near Reseda Boulevard in Porter Ranch, Los Angeles, shortly before 2 a.m. The incident began when a dark-colored truck collided with the center divider while traveling eastbound, leaving it stalled in the freeway lanes. Moments later, a silver pickup truck, described as "flying" by a witness recording the scene, crashed into the disabled vehicle, creating a violent collision. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the initial crash at 1:52 a.m., and as officers arrived, the second crash occurred, captured on video by OnSceneTV.
