People think Canada was always Canada.
They think New Brunswick was always “ours.”
The truth? It was stolen. And the same forces that stole it then are still stealing it now.

🌿 Before Colonization: This Was Sovereign Land

Long before flags, borders, or kings, Mi’kmaq and Maliseet nations lived here — self-governed, free, and deeply connected to the land.
They never gave it away. No treaty handed it over. Their sovereignty was ignored.

🇫🇷 The French Era (1604 – 1713)

In 1604, the French arrived, calling it Acadia.
They built settlements, traded with Indigenous nations, and resisted British expansion.
This was still not Britain’s land.

🦁 Britain Takes Over (1713 – 1763)

Britain wanted control.
• 1713 (Treaty of Utrecht): France ceded parts of Acadia to Britain — but not with Indigenous consent.
• 1755–1764: The Great Expulsion. Acadian families were burned out of their homes and deported.
• 1763 (Treaty of Paris): France gave up the rest. Britain claimed it all.

They didn’t “settle” this land — they took it.

🏴 British Colony (1784 – 1867)

After the American Revolution, Britain dumped thousands of Loyalist refugees here.
• 1784: New Brunswick was carved out of Nova Scotia and declared a British colony.
• The Crown granted land to those loyal to the King while pushing Indigenous nations to the margins.
• Everything was owned in the name of the Crown.

You could “own” property, but legally, it still belonged to the King. Sound familiar?

🍁 Confederation (1867)

On July 1, 1867, New Brunswick became one of the founding provinces of the new Dominion of Canada.
But even then, Canada was still under Britain.
The King remained the owner. The people remained subjects.

🌐 Modern Canada: The Game Changed, Not the Goal

Fast forward.
Canada gained independence on paper, but the Crown still owns all land.
You’re not a freeholder — you’re a tenant under property tax. Miss payments? They take it back.
Politicians don’t work for you — they work for global powers, just as colonists once worked for the King.

• THEN: Acadians were expelled. Indigenous were pushed out. Loyalists were brought in.
• NOW: Canadians are priced out, taxed out, or silenced while mass immigration reshapes the country.
• THEN: Britain controlled resources and land.
• NOW: Corporations and global agencies control housing, energy, and food.
• THEN: Power served the Crown.
• NOW: Power serves global elites.

⚠️ Wake Up, New Brunswick — Wake Up, Canada

They stole it once with muskets, treaties, and forced migration.
They’re stealing it again with policies, economics, and population replacement.

💥 History isn’t repeating — it’s continuing.
And if we don’t see it, they’ll finish what they started.
