Matt Reeves is allegedly working on The Batman Part 2. James Gunn is desperate to get Bruce Wayne into the DCU. There is one version of the Caped Crusader in the fold already, but instead of making things more streamlined, they decided to greenlight a cringy race and culture swap for the most popular characters in Gotham.
