Murder By Fire

This is a message about being careful as a Christian to never think that you can never go sideways no matter how strong you run for the Lord. Oh how we want to stop those who are not with us even though they might be doing the same thing. Think about all of the unnecessary church splits had they just listened to this Podcast. Ha, but no really why do we want to sick our fire-breathing dragon on those in whom we are actually supposed to be winning in love by the power of the Holy Spirit. I mean if this was really the way Jesus intended the gospel be preached then we can wrap up this whole evangelizing the world thing and get Him to return but right this very week. And but you can also see why we, when we have this attitude towards others that our prayers are not answered. Ah but now we are talking about another message.
First I will prove this is possible even if you are walking with God on this earth so closely that you can smell Him, not that He stinks or anything but well you know what I mean. Then we move to how we can be more effective.
So the first scripture that I will be using is talking to a group of Christians who believe that they are in Gods perfect will, in part, or for the most part, because they are operating in miracles, signs, and wonders. This is for sure a heavenly crowd thinner of which I have to believe that they in their lifetime had the chance to course-correct but refused because they could do the God magic:
Matt 7:21-23 - 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
The fact that these Christians are arguing, or rather, at the same time, presenting Jesus their spiritual resume, is evidence that they had figured that they would get extra credit in order to erase their sins and hoping that God would overlook the fact that they, even though they considered themselves Christians, wanted to get into heaven their own way.
It is as almost, and think about this, as though they purposefully took advantage of their salvation and the miracles, signs, and wonder benefits and figured that by doing what they, in their own truth, could not do anyway without God, but deception is what it is, and so they thought that they could remain as they were before salvation while also fooling all of those around them that they indeed were spiritual.
Heb 2:3 - how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
Ah, I know there are holes in that everywhere but not to the deceived. Foolishness and stupidity go hand-in-hand, and for these types of Christians all the while as they used Gods gifts for their own purposes.
