The Villages Real Estate Correction Continues As Predicted

The Villages real estate market is seeing a noticeable decline in pricing over the last 12 months. So much so, Newsweek finally posted the top 5 cities in Florida with price declines. The Villages market is more firm than most, but even Ocala has seen an increase in median property values of around 1.8%, if we are to believe this article. I have been saying for 3 years now, The Villages market will be a slow decline back to reality and the rest of Florida real estate will follow. As for home buyers, this is great news if you are coming from the northern states where real estate inventory has remained low keeping prices high.
