OVERCOME

I’ve been knocked down, I’ve been pushed aside,
I’ve been through storms I couldn’t hide.
But every time I hit the ground,
I rose again, I turned around.

Every scar is a badge I wear,
Every tear shows I was there.
Through the fire, I’ve become,
Someone who can overcome.
