We all think we know what we would do if our partner ever physically assaulted us, we'd leave! The reality however is very different. Often when the abuse starts we don't even recognise that we are being abused, and that abuse builds over time. When we realise the reality of the situation, we are trapped in a toxic and violent situation often feeling like we have no option but to stay.
Lisa Sonni ⁨@strongerthanbefore⁩ breaks down how so many women find themselves in these situations as well as the signs to look for. We both share our stories of survival, our dealings with law enforcement and the things we look for now that we are on the other side of those relationships.
