Many claim the Catholic Church broke away from the truth. But history tells a different story.
Jesus founded one Church (Matthew 16:18)—not many. For 1,500 years, there was only one visible, universal Church: the Catholic Church.
Then in 1517, Martin Luther broke away. Others followed: Zwingli, Calvin, Henry VIII.

They didn’t reform the Church from within. They left it.

They rejected the priesthood, the sacraments, apostolic succession, and the Church’s authority.
So who really separated from whom?
