Awaken Biblical Prophecy Commentary – Young Adult Dystopian Truth

There’s an “I’m trying to warn you” honesty about Young Adult dystopian novels. In a sense, the authors write to their audience by describing unspeakable horrors of tyranny that can’t penetrate the normal deceptive static of everyday life – especially that which involves social media mal-information that so consumes young people today.

If you’ve read The Hunger Games or Divergent you may understand a little of what I’m saying. These stories are as much for adults as they are for a teen audience, just that they involve teenagers as the protagonists. Don’t let that dissuade you from reading this genre. The brutal truth of elite power and control over the masses is often conveyed more succinctly here than in many other venues.
