Head of the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has officially repealed a Biden-era policy that financially rewarded hospitals for reporting their staff vaccination rates. The previous incentive linked hospital reimbursements to high employee vaccination coverage, a system criticized as coercive and misaligned with medical autonomy.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., declared that medical decisions should be guided by well-being and evidence, not financial rewards, and removed several industry-group participants from CDC advisory panels to reduce influence from pharmaceutical interests.
