Evil West, playthrough, pt.11

I am getting more and more the hang of these controls while the game throws more and more enemies at me, especially previous bosses. It turns out that my father has become a vampire. I'm trying to follow the game's logic, but I am unsure if curing him is in the cards or not. All I know is that my father's assistant has assumed leadership, and he is not happy with me at all. The plot thickens!
