🇺🇸🇯🇵 80 YEARS AGO TODAY: HIROSHIMA

On August 6, 1945, the world changed forever.
The U.S. dropped the first atomic bomb used in war — “Little Boy” — on the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

💥 The blast, equal to 15,000 tons of TNT, destroyed nearly 70% of the city.

💀 By year’s end, 140,000+ people were dead — many within seconds.

📍 Within 1.2 km of ground zero, half died instantly. Near the hypocenter, almost no one survived.

☢️ Survivors faced slow deaths from radiation: cancer, leukemia, organ failure.

This marked the beginning of the nuclear age — and a scar humanity still carries.

🕊️ Never forget.
