DHS Raids Home Depot in MacArthur Park, Targets MS-13 Influence

On August 6, 2025, at around 7 a.m., Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents conducted an immigration raid, dubbed "Operation Trojan Horse," at a Home Depot near MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. Arriving in unmarked Penske trucks, agents burst from the vehicles, targeting an area DHS claims is under the "chokehold" of the MS-13 gang. Video footage captured agents chasing day laborers and street vendors, with 16 undocumented migrants from Guatemala, Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua detained. The operation sparked chaos as people scattered, some hiding in nearby stores or behind store merchandise.
