And then came integration, and everyone thought we would be accepted. We’re not accepted. They’re showing us who they are. We should believe them, and we better have the courage to stand up.

Otherwise, we’ll fall for anything. And in this country, we will be defeated, deported—I mean, we’ll lose all our rights. And if you think it can’t happen, yes, it can.

I compare it to the Holocaust. People say: how did the Holocaust happen? How was someone in a position to kill so many people? Well, good people stayed silent, or good people didn’t realize that what’s happening to them could very soon happen to me or to someone I love.

So even if you’ve already made it, you have an obligation to help those who haven’t, because God forbid, they might end up coming after you and your family.
